About me

Photography allows me to express myself artistically and provides a creative outlet and focus. The act of photography is my zen and joy.

I graduated with a Certificate of Photography from Langara College where I learned the tools, techniques, and art of photography. Innately a generalist I loved exploring everything from studio portraits to composites in Photoshop, from close-up photography to photographing the natural and urban context. Although I am still interested in a wide variety of photographic styles and subjects, I found my photographic eye through fine art photography – building an image in camera and honing that vision through post processing.

Now retired from work but not from photography, “Patricia 3.0” is a fine art photographer who believes in lifelong learning and sharing my stories.

The act of exploring my world with a camera has been my place of happiness. I hope that this transitions into the images that I have chosen for this website.
